Marine tank macro algae, macros as I called them, play a decorative role for me much more then water conditioning.  That is why I keep them in my Display Tank with some fish that do not eat them.  I also have a small tank with gorgonias and macros with no fish at all - just a couple of mint shrimps, a few crabs and snails to add some variety and to do possibly some practical cleaning of macros and gorgonias.

Please, see My First Macros and November 2017 collections.

However, if you plan to keep macros out of sight, down there under Display Tanks, there is a selection of macros that would help you with purifying water by consuming unwanted nutrients thus balancing chemistry of tank water.

Would I put there sargassum, red grapes, red or green ogos and many other more fragile and expensive macros?  Probably, not, even if they would help in cleaning water.

But, feel free to explore the world of macros at both of their worlds - decorative and practical.

I compiled a selection of macros that I could make available to ship or for pick-up.

Macros must be prepaid before ordering and shipping is calculated on case by case basis because Canada is a wide country.  Toronto area shipping might be around $30, depending from weight. Obviously, mid-Western provinces will be more expensive.

In general, I advice to make a bigger order and split a costs with a friend or resale some macros to cover the expenses.   Shipping macros may take 3 days or shorter - again, Montreal or Toronto is less then 24 hour trip.  Please, be home or arrange pickup from a store, so the package is not left outside.

I will update pictures and availability on a daily basis.  Let me know and send me a message what you would like to order or pre-order.  We can arrange advance payments to cover a fast sale, should the item become available.  Some macros could be held at my location for a few days and combined with other orders.

Please, take a look at possible selection and prices.  There will be first order in the first or second week of April when outside nightly temperatures will be at least 8C or more.
